In this speed reading techniques training course (run in house), you will learn how to speed read with greater comprehension.
This is an intense, introductory level training course, designed to introduce you to new ways of speed reading that will lead to reading improvements through a series of practice reading sessions using a variety of different speed reading techniques.
Target Audience
In company training for individuals who have large volumes of reading material that they wish to manage more effectively using reading techniques that can increase their speed and reading comprehension.
Course Objectives
To introduce participants to the concept that we can change the way we read and to introduce the skills necessary for improving the speed and effectiveness of their reading by:
Identifying their current reading rate
Being able to use a pacer
Being able to explain five reading techniques to remember what they read
Being able to recognise the difference between skimming and scanning
